"I'm Ready" is the second single from R&B Singer Tevin Campbell's second album I'm Ready. It was a success in both the Pop and R&B charts reaching top-ten on the Billboard Hot 100 (#9) and top-five R&B (#2). It remained at the #2 on the R&B charts for 4 weeks mainly because at the time R. Kelly was making a then record-breaking run on the chart with his mega hit Bump n' Grind, which stayed at #1 for an astonishing 12 weeks. "I'm Ready" was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rhythm & Blues Vocal Performance - Male.

R&B trio Total made their first appearance singing the hook on The Notorious B.I.G.'s debut single, "Juicy". Garnering attention for the new group, they were also featured on the original version and "Hip Hop Remix" of his next single "One More Chance". They then immediately hit the studio with Bad Boy Records CEO Sean "Puffy" Combs and began work on their debut album. The first single "Can't You See?", had The Notorious B.I.G. returning the favor with a guest rhyme, the single peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and entered the top ten of the R&B Charts. Their self-titled debut album was released shortly thereafter, they produced two more R&B top ten singles, "No One Else" (and its remix featuring Foxy Brown, Lil' Kim and Da Brat) and '"Kissing You" (and its remix featuring Sean "Puffy" Combs). The album was certified platinum by the RIAA.

The R&B production/recording trio
 Somethin' for the People was formed in Los Angeles in 1990 by Oakland, CA, natives Curtis "Sauce" Wilson and Jeff "Fuzzy" Young, along with L.A.-based Rochad "Cat Daddy" Holiday.

 It spawned the gold-selling, Top Five pop and R&B hit "My Love Is the Shhh!"  The song Features female sister Duo Trina and Tamara..

"Get It Together" was one of the most popular "Make-Up Songs" Of the 90's!  R&B group 702 recorded for the group's debut album No Doubt (1996). The song was released as the second single for the album on January 28, 1997.

The song peaked at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. By April 1997, it was certified gold in sales by the RIAA, after sales exceeding 500,000 copies in the United States.
