Every now and then, you hear a buzz around the industry about R&B groups and then the phaze usually dies, but these guys have our full attention. Their lead single, "Computer Love" is enough to keep the ladies of Pink Ink Entertainment interested and buzzing. We're excited to be supporting and following a talented male r&b group!!!
Hamilton Park is a newly signed R&B group on Andre Harrell's new label at Atlantic Records. HP is from the peach state that honed their harmonizing skills and developed chemistry by singing in church, on Marta trains and buses around the City of Atlanta looking to be discovered. Drawing comparisons from such legendary groups like, Jodeci, Guy and Jagged Edge. The group's vocal texture and ability is reminiscent of a period in music when the artist had to have showmanship, talent, and real Vocals. Their songs are infectious expressions of youth that you can feel that's often abandoned in today's disposable pop environment.
Hamilton Park may have honed their vocal skills while singing in their church choirs, but they are much more than just four guys who share a love for singing. They are a brotherhood born on the basketball courts of Hamilton Park Recreation Center in Atlanta. Hamilton Park, which is made up of Anthony, Mr. Marcus Lee, Chris Voice and Royce P aka The Prince of H.P., turned to both music and basketball as a way to avoid trouble in the streets of Atlanta, and remain on the path of following their dreams. Never once did H.P., imagine that the endless time spent playing basketball, or singing for hours on end, would later lead to being discovered by legendary music mogul Andre Harrell through his partnership with Radio One’s “Superstar Soul Search,” becoming the first group signed to his label, Harrell Records.
